Gold at 2016 OG. DNS at 2019 WCh, 6th in 2017. Finished 5th at 2018 CWG. In other events - silver at 4x100m women's free relay at Tokyo 2020, bronze in 200m free. At 2016 OG, silver in 100m fly, bronze in 4x100m, 4x200m free relay. She was named flag bearer for CAN at the closing ceremony of 2016 OG. Took a break after 2018 CWG to focus on 'being a teenager' and returned mid-2019.
Finished 10th at 2019 WCh, 14th in 2017, 18th in 2015. Placed 4th at 2014 Asian Games. Silver at 2014 YOG. In other events - silver in 200m freestyle at 2020 OG. In 2017, she became the first swimmer representing HKG to reach the final of an individual event at WCh. She plays the piano and paints her nails before every competition. Older sister Aisling HAUGHEY has also represented Hong Kong.
