Placed 31st at 2016 OG. Finished 2nd at Canet-en-Roussillon and Monaco in 2021 Mare Nostrum events. In other events - bronze in 50m fly at 2011 WCh and 2010 European Ch. Silver in 50m fly at 2021 European Ch. Began swimming at age five after being taught by her brother. Believes determination is key and her philosophy is: 'Never give up, just try it one more time.'

She took an 18-month break from swimming after a shoulder injury in September 2016. She moved to the USA in 2012 to study psychology at the University of Southern California. 'My studies changed me, I realised that I can fight for big goals. I want to go down in history.'
