In 2021 season, 5th at Guatemala City WCup event, 9th in Lausanne. In other events - 9th in mixed team at 2020 OG. His wife Lisa UNRUH (GER) won individual silver at 2016 OG. Together, they won silver in the mixed recurve team at 2017 WCh.

His bow was stolen after thieves broke into his training venue in February 2020 but it was returned to him the following month after a plea on social media.
